Blossoming flowers and spice. Fruit-weighted finesse wrapped in age-worthy tannins. The old terraced Grenache Noir vineyard carries the principal taste notes to this wine. It’s always complex tannins and easy fruit in a buttery profile. Our north east facing Mourvèdre, adds a fuller roundness to the mouth and a touch of deeper fruit notes to the palate. An addition of light Syrah balances the bottle towards lightness of spirit. A joy to drink.
40 % Mourvèdre, 35 % Grenache Noir and 25 % Syrah
No filtering or fining. 30 mg/l SO2 total. Nothing else.
Serve at around 15C. Opens up nicely with a swirl in the glass. This is not a sterilised wine so treat it with respect.
